I am greatly pleased to offer individually tailored Therapeutic Massage that helps relieve pain without a painful process. I deliver highly effective massage therapy to help reduce pain and stress. Each massage session is customized to the individual for maximum therapeutic benefit.
PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy is aligned with that of Osteopathic Medicine:
"The body is a unit; the person is a unit of body, mind, and spirit. The body is capable of self-regulation, self-healing, and health maintenance. Rational treatment is based upon an understanding of the basic principles of body unity, self-regulation, and the interrelationship of structure and function."

TECHNIQUE
My techniques are a combination of training in many different forms of pain relief therapy. In addition to Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage, I employ principles from many different forms of bodywork such as Medical Massage, Reiki, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, and especially Ortho-Bionomy. Ortho-bionomy is a form of therapeutic bodywork, based on the principle that gentle and non-invasive body alignment has a positive influence on physical and emotional disorders. I have been studying and using these techniques since 2010.

WHY DID I CHOOSE MASSAGE?
I was introduced to massage via a gift certificate from a friend. After receiving my first massage, I didn't know whether I wanted to take a nap or do cartwheels! I was so relaxed, yet I could move so freely.
Massage was the only treatment that would relieve my headaches and neck pain from a serious car accident and my stressful secretarial job. I felt compelled to share that healing help with others!
